Think before you change your habits.

During this #stayhome time I discovered something about me that has blown my mind 🤯

I wonder if you are the same as me? Let me explain. I'd been reading 🤓 a lot of posts about not forcing yourself to do things during this turbulent time, to go easy on yourself and just chill 💤. So I stopped. I stopped working. I stopped creating and I stopped planning. I even stopped ⚠️ my daily routine. I just stopped. I discovered that although this idea of stopping and doing nothing may be good for some people.... it is not so good for me 🙇‍♀️. I learnt three things; 1. the ago old thing of don't believe everything you read on the internet. ✅ 2. there is not a one size fits all solution to how to cope with our new normal. ✅ 3. Most importantly I do not like doing nothing. I learnt doing nothing for me is damaging to my mental health. ✅ This not might be the case for you and that is ok. What I hope to share with you is that you are unique and everyone has their own way to cope. It is up to you to discover it.

I do however offer a cautionary tale to those of you considering drastically changing your daily habits to follow the advice of an online message. Follow your feelings👯‍♀️💖. If it feels good for you to be productive, then be productive. There should be not guilt in your productivity. If you feel like doing nothing, then do nothing, there should also be no guilt in this either. Just be prepared that changes are a cause to an effect. Make sure the changes you make are giving you the effect you want. Therefore I will be productive and enjoy the effects it brings me. I will also not be judging those who chose not to be and I hope vice versa. 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️👯‍♀️
